The hood itself is molded from lightweight multi-layer fiberglass and ships paint-ready in gelcoat. The hood incorporates subtle and fully functional forward-facing scoops and a pair of vents at the back. These scoops and extractor vents significantly reduce underhood temperatures, an important consideration for popular Hemi and LS V-8 conversions. The hood accommodates factory hood latches or aftermarket equivalents.
IMPORTANT: The factory safety latch is defeated with this hood. For this reason, it is recommended for off-road use only.
